Created By: Nazareth University

Information

Address: Parking lot next to the Salvation Army Building (62-64 S. First Street) near the canal in Fulton, NY.

This mural was done by local artist Ben Jerred and is on the south side of the Salvation Army Building, in Fulton's Canal View business district. It celebrates the city history by depicting life on the Oswego Canal and paying tribute to the former L.C. Smith / Hunter Arms Company which is shown, across the canal, in the mural. The company made Hunter guns, L.C. Smith shotguns, the Hunter fan and Hunter bicycles. Note the canal boats in the mural as they head toward the lock on the Oswego Canal.
