Information

Built in 1882, like 132 across the street, this Federal style house is larger but is still made of the same red brick. The raised entry leads to a narrow front door with a lantern next to it. The approach to the light blue front door is made up of dark grey concrete steps with a black metal railing that leads to a landing. Metal is another component of the federal style, as seen at several other stops there are metal railings or fences that contrast nicely with the brick structure. On the first floor there are two connected single hung windows with Palladian style curves on either side of the front door. Three single hung windows can be found on the second floor with black shutters accenting them, while the basement has two awning windows. Overall this home has many similarities to others but its windows and front steps help to make it stand out.
