This building is an exuberant, high-style Italianate. It reflects an Italian Villa interpretation of the style. It was a funeral home for most of 20th Century, Hisey & Titus Mortuary.
The holding room for the deceased remains intact in basement. Upon his death, Charles Bals, passed the business to his daughter Mrs. Wocher.
