Zoetropes were the original moving picture machines...And Venice has always been a movie making mecca.

The First time Charlie Chaplin portrayed his iconic "Little Tramp" character was in his 1914 film, "Kid Auto Races in Venice." He filmed at Main & Westminster Streets, where our Venice Dog Park now stands. It was his second ever film.
