Point of Interest Details

Look to the right to see the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art at the corner of Sixth and Walnut Streets. The building was designed by Zaha Hadid who won a 1997 design competition of 97 entries. The two other finalists were David Lipskind and Bernard Tshumi. The building opened in 2003.

The site was formerly home to a Cincinnati instition, Batsakes hat shop.

Looking to the Left you will see the Cincinnatian Hotel (known as the Palace Hotel until 1951). The building was designed by Samuel Hannaford, often considered Cincinnati's master architect, in 1882.
