716 South Wawaset Rd, Pocopson. Park facilities. The house is currently not open to the public.

The house was a known station on the UGRR. An Historical Marker is in front of house along the road. Eusebius and his family were abolitionists, and he was one of the founders of the Longwood Progressive Friends Meeting. Freedom seekers were often concealed in the kitchen for their safety. They were then moved to other ‘stations’ on their journey to freedom, a dangerous task for those helping

Directions to Route 1 near Longwood Gardens and the starting point at the Tourism Center:

• One way EXIT from picnic area at the Barnard House

• R onto S. Wawaset Road, proceed .2 miles

• R onto traffic circle and take 2nd EXIT for PA-S. 52/Lenape Rd, proceed 2.4 miles.

• Intersection at US-1. Turn L for RT 1 South towards Philadelphia or right toward Kennett Square.
