The Garnet Trail is the longest hiking trail starting on the Sams House property and leads to Pine Island Conservation Area. This wilderness trail traverses the swampy, fern-filled Oak Hammock, Salt Marsh, Mangrove Swamp, Sams Creek, and a Brackish Lake.
