Hal's Delicatessen & Sandwich

Family owned and operated since 1961, Hal’s is a Kosher-style deli serving everything from bagels and lox to an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, and daily lunch specials. Try the crunchy and delicious mini potato pancakes loaded with applesauce and sour cream.

Hal's offers ample seating and a lunch counter in the back, and deli cases full of meats in the front, as well as a collection of framed photographs, newspaper clippings and other memorabilia from the days when Hal Kuntz, the long time proprietor, doubled as the scoreboard operator for Cornell basketball games at Barton Hall, from 1961 till his passing in 1986.
