Indian Statue

Punta Gorda, Florida 33950, United States

Created By: SW Florida Walking Tours

This double-sided statue was created by master wood carver Peter Toth of Englewood in 1973. It was carved from one of Marian McAdow's favorite trees, which she called the Monkeypod tree, after it died. The tree was across the street in what is now the parking lot of PG Waterfront Inn, and was relocated after carving to its current location.
