As you continue west on Washington Avenue, you will find yourself once again in the heart of the district. KDHX and Jazz at the Bistro border Strauss Park. Both venues provide entertainment to the masses year round. KDHX is the beginning of the Jazz Crawl starting at 5pm on Wednesday nights and KDHX The Stae within hosts many performers from across the country.

As you stand in Strauss Park there is one more public mural to be seen. Atop the KDHX building if viewed from the west side between KDHX and Jazz at the Bistro, you can see a colorful mural by father and dauther team, Robert and Liza Fishbone. The mural is called 66 Reasons to Love Saint Louis and depicts 66 highlights of our city. You can see every tiny detail of it through a telescope available in the middle of the park, near the seating area for the stage platform.

To return to the hotel, continue on Washington Avenue and turn north on Grand. The hotel entrance is at the corner of Grand and Samuel Shepard.
