The Maekok River Village centre is ideally located on the banks of the Mae Kok River in norther Thailand with sweeping views across the valley to the distant forested mountains. The peaceful, rural setting makes an ideal centre for a visit to northern Thailand and for this particular workshop which focuses on how to use mobile and pervasive technologies in outdoor, non formal settings.

There are numerous activities available at the centre and in the surrounding area which allow participants to fill their days with a variety of experiences.
