Moosewood Restaurant

Named one of the thirteen most influential restaurants of the 20th century by Bon Appetit magazine, Moosewood Restaurant at 215 North Cayuga Street is also notable for its unique corporate structure: it is owned and operated by a group of 19 restaurateurs known as the Moosewood Collective. In addition to operating the restaurant, which has been a favorite among locals as well as one of the area’s top tourist attractions for over forty years, the Collective has published 13 cookbooks featuring the famous eatery’s signature vegetarian and natural foods cuisine.
