Built in 1923, the lot was purchased in 1922 by Pleasant Grove Baptist. The buildng design is based on St. James AME Church in Quaker
The photo of the church is actually the former St. James AME church that was dismantled by this Baptist congregation and reassembled exactly like it looked when built in Quaker.
