Follow the grassy path to Jyme Lake, a small bog typical of northern Wisconsin. Follow the boardwalk to get a closer look. The floating mat of vegetation surrounding the open water is comprised of sedges, sphagnum mosses and unique bog plants like the pitcher plant and sundew. Walking on a bog is like walking on a waterbed. Watch for leopard frogs, dragonflies and damselflies. (Jyme is pronounced "jimmy")
