Cheri Burchard began art lessons at age 9 from a professor at Elmira College and has continued studying in the U.S. and abroad. In her golden years Cheri still enjoys learning and producing thought provoking and, hopefully, beautiful art. She uses techniques, textures, and colors to call out the essence of the subject. Because of her years of study and practice of the foundational principles of art, she is able to break the rules with confidence and joy. Cheri’s paints brilliant or moody landscapes, joyful flowers horses and birds. To see her art in person is to feel it. Cheri’s subjects are varied, but her style is recognizable and uniquely hers.

Studio is in the side entrance of the barn.
