Kitt Shaffer and Shafferarts display art in a wide range of media, including traditional landscapes in oil on canvas, linen and board as well as pastels, white-line prints, watercolor, from life or photographs. Most recent work showcases the beautiful landscapes of the South Coast area. Painted furniture includes a combination of free-hand painting and stencils. Shaffer has pursued ceramics for many years, including functional as well as whimsical sculptural works. Shaffer's works have been displayed at the Harvard Ceramics annual Show and Sale, the Chobanian and Abedesian School of Medicine annual Art Days, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, as well as shows sponsored by South Coast Artists and Westport Art Group. Shaffer’s work will be highlighted in February at Concerts at the Point in Westport in 2023. Examples of her work can be viewed on her website: www.shafferarts.com
Monument Drive is an unmarked road off Adamsville Road (south side), near the Rhode Island border. The entrance to my home and studio is a white shell driveway on the left just after the road turns to gravel.
