2020 Career Center Home

A partnership in this community is with the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School’s Career Center. Students in the Construction Technology program begin construction on a house at the Kennedy High School campus. Once construction is well underway, Habitat Forsyth then transports the house to its designated lot where staff and volunteers, alongside the family, will complete the home.

A home built through this partnership is currently under construction to your left at 1700 Burton Street.

Habitat Forsyth also partners with Forsyth Tech Community College in many capacities, such as training and on-the-job experience for carpentry and plumbing students at our various construction sites. We plan to continue growing this partnership.
