EARLY CONTEMPORARY Originally designed for actor, filmmaker, art collector, artist, and longtime Venice resident Dennis Hopper, this house has a plain corrugated metal façade that belies a spacious, quirky, and light-filled interior. Murphy once described the house as “paramilitary suburban.”
