This building served as a town hall and the Womens Christian Temperance Union of Keedysville. It was dedicated in 1892. Funds for building were raised by donations administered by D.H. Wyand whose wife was a local leader of the Temperance movement. Carrie Nation, the radical member of the Temperance Movement, visited here. The structure was later occupied as a Pythian Hall. This hall was the site of many community events and can be remembered by many for the town Halloween party held there every year.
