As a landscape oil painter, working both en plein air and in the studio, Debbie captures the essence of the light and atmosphere of the South Coast through all its seasons, while demonstrating a special affinity towards the late day light at the beach and in the dunes.
Debbie received her BFA in Illustration from RISD in 1982. In the early years of her career she worked as an illustrator, and as a high school art teacher before evolving her career into painting exclusively.
She is an elected member of the Guild of Boston Artists and is also represented by Pierce Galleries, Inc. on Nantucket.
