Information

501 Aurora Avenue / Neill House / Architect: Hobart Wagener (attributed) / Style: Frank Lloyd Wright ‘Usonian’/ Eichler / built 1955 with a later addition in 1980

This house design is attributed to architect Hobart Wagener because of the low sloping roof, the overhangs, and the floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows in the living room. The design is inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and the California Eichler homes. The layout takes advantage of the sloping site with a split-level floor arrangement. An addition to the west has respected the original Modern design features.
