These buildings have lost their historic facades, but have stood since at least the 1880s. The building at 712 N Main has been a variety of businesses from shoe repair to journalism and even a tire store. 714 N Main was more consistent with longer running businesses including the Master Cleaners & Dryers in the 1920 and 30s.
