Lipscomb House Site
Built in 1885 for Dr. Curvier Lipscomb. It was a Prairie Foursquare style. Dr. Lipscomb purchased the property from Mr. Mounts (Mounts Dr.) in 1874 and the first two lots of the 1st Mounts Addition in 1878. Priestly Lipscomb acquired this property in 1895 to build his home at 918 W. Oak. In 1970, developers razed this home and replaced it with the commercial structure.
