Information

This garden was the Nature Preserve’s first dedicated pollinator garden. The garden was planted in honor of the 9/11 Day of Service in 2015 when over 100 volunteers participated in honoring the lives of those lost on September 11th, 2001. One of the species planted here is the native Coontie, a preferred host plant for the rare Atala Butterfly.
