1 W. 6th Street
History
This building operated in the 1860s as Thomas Graham Wooden Vehicle, Manufacturing -- making wagons and wagon wheels with over 75 employees. Individuals traveling across the Ohio River would stop to repair or replace their wagon wheels. Nearby was the Schroeder Saddletree Factory, making saddles for horses, and now serves as a museum. The front office in this large building was once an office for another 1800s factory, Pearl Meat Packing, located across the street.
Renovations
It was purchased and restored/repurposed as a law office in 1996. The large, open concept interior allows for multi-purpose use for the building.
