But it is even better : this place is the mother of the South Modern mouvement.

Café Aliança is one of the oldest café in town. One of the unique Parisian style Café of Faro. It is at the counter of this café that was secretly born South Modern movement. The leaders of the movement made of architects, city hall executives but also Church representants used to meet here almost every day from early 1950’s to create from zero Faro’s modern achitecture.
