The Pulaski County Tourism Bureau and Visitors Center is showcasing the All American Quilt Square. This square expresses the story of Pulaski County Missouri.
The stars. in the 4-corner triangles, represent Missouri as the 24th state of the Union. The 5 stars in the center represent the 5 incorporated cities within Pulaski County; Crocker, Dixon, Richland, Saint Robert, and Waynesville.
The three red stripes are in remembrance of three communities; Bloodland, Palace, and Tribune which sacrificed their lands for what is now known as Fort Leonard Wood. The 4 white stripes signify the communities of Big Piney, Buckhorn/Laquey, Devils Elbow, and Big Piney.
Our communities are proud and patriotic. Our communities are home to our founding families as well as people from all over the world that fell in love with our Ozark scenery, local history, and culture. Our communities are a welcome place in America's Heartland.
