An intimate liberal arts education within a large university

The largest college within Cornell, with 40 majors ranging from Biology to Government to Classics, the College of Arts and Science offers a rich curriculum with some of the most distinguished faculty in the world. All A&S faculty teach and advise undergraduates. Upon entering the college, students will receive an advisor who can assist them in choosing from the 2,000 undergraduate courses offered each year. As part of the liberal arts eduction, A&S students are required to meet distribution, breadth, and language requirements.
