City #7 is Baghdad, Iraq. Baghdad was interesting because of the mystery behind the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and it's geography. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were described by Berossus, a Chaldaean Priest who lived in 4th century BCE. He wrote that they were built by King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife Amytis because she felt homesick. Many Greek Historians have cited his writing. Aside from this, there is no evidence Bablyon ever exist. There aren't mentioned in documentations of Babylonian history, and while there might be evidence under the Euphrates River, there isn't any way to excavate it. We learned about Mesopotamia and the Euphrates River in 6th grade, so it was fun to go back and re-learn about them. Baghdad ranks abov because Berlin doesn't have a wonder of the ancient world like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
