Information

Follow the signs toward the restrooms to find this hidden stop.

The Bartels Science Illustration Program provides a unique opportunity for both upcoming artists and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Since 2007, these rotating residencies have allowed illustrators to gain experience, hone their skills, and build portfolios. Each resident works on projects illustrating birds, wildlife, plants, or any other illustrations that might appear in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s print publications, education and outreach materials, websites, and scientific works. Residents have access to resources at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Cornell University, including the Cornell University Museum of Vertebrates to study prepared specimens.
