Information

The 1942 Devils Elbow Arch Bridge, was designed by the Missouri State Highway Commission. Composed of three open-spandrel arches and five arched girder approach spans, it was constructed by Maxwell Construction Company. Maxwell Construction Company constructed almost a dozen, if not more, bridges in Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri between 1912 and 1942.
