Black Cherry (Prunus serotina)

This tree stands farther behind the slippery elm and black raspberry, it stands just before the tree with the "no trespassing" sign. I like this tree becasue it produces one of my favorite fruits, black cherries. It is also a pretty tree to look at in the fall with the yellow and red fall colors. It is a medium sized tree with a thin trunk and branches.
