Everyday, I try to figure out why I’m here. And everyday I draw, or sculpt, or paint, or make something in an attempt to figure out the mystery. I’m not trying to replicate nature, I’m trying to understand the unknown.

The underpass street mural called for a colorful vision to bring light to an overlooked space. This mural is my interpretation of thinking about the mountains and the nature of our surroundings in Eastern Kentucky. I wanted to bring the joy of life to this concrete wall.
