There is no kitchen, but we have an outdoor grill and private terrace at your disposal. Our large, beautiful property is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). We are flexible when it comes to check-in and offer the use of our in-ground pool as part of your package.
The space
The living room is rich in art and history of the 1800's whaling era, the heritage of the Snow family. There is a wonderful view of the Sakonnet River with spectacular sunsets, sparkling sunlight on the river and moon-scapes to delight in year 'round. This room is large, but cozy, has internet access, board games and plenty of books to read.
Guest access
All guests will have access to two upstairs, light filled, small bedrooms and small (stall shower) bath. Their living room is large and fits four adults comfortably. There is no kitchen access; however, in a corner of the living room, there is a medium sized fridge w freezer, microwave and Keurig coffee maker w condiments. Cold breakfast items i.e. cereal, granola bars, OJ, Coffee, tea, milk & 1/2&1/2 are supplied. There is a shaded terrace w outdoor grill nestled under the red-leaf maple from which a perennial garden path leads directly to the kidney shaped in-ground pool. We are artists participating in the South Coast Artists Open Studio Tours July 17-18; August 21-22. Our art studio is located on the property and is open to the public 11-5 both weekends, both days. This is our 10th year on the tour and we welcome returning patrons who come to this area specifically for these art-rich weekends. The Studio is in the back room and does not interfere with the Airbnb flow.
Our son and his family live in the barn located at the back of the property. You might see him/them during your stay.
