During the early years, the long arm of the law reached Browns Bay only on weekends and holidays when Constable Maloney would arrive from Takapuna to keep order. In the mid-1940s, steps were taken to establish a permanent local police presence in the bay and soon a local cop was on the beat. The present station is the third on this site and was opened in January 1992.
Continue along Bayview Road and then turn left onto Manly Esplanade.
