Brushcan Mural

Created by Asheville artists Scott Allred and Jeremy Russell in the summer of 2019 this mural depicts the arts that make BMCA the lively arts center that it is. Allred and Russell looked to Thomas Hart Benton and the regionalist style as inspiration for this mural to create a fluid and dynamic painting that both matched the energy of the arts at BMCA and the feel of our historic building and small town.
