Leave the plantation and go back the way you came. Turn right at the second stop sign (Route 50). Then later turn right onto Route 45 and follow it into Columbus.
To get to the COLUMBUS WELCOME CENTER, follow Route 45 through town and then turn right onto Main Street. The Welcome Center is on the left, at 300 Main Street (662-329-1191). It was the birthplace of Tennessee Williams.
