Active since 2010. It is in the heart of the salt mine operation—apparently the Osprey pair do not mind the commotion. Park on the side of Portland Point Road to view.

This nest was intially built on a utility pole but caught fire and caused a power outage. NYSEG put the nest safely on a riser. The following year a truck knocked the pole over, but NYSEG put it up again. They ahve produce three chicks every year.
