Before you get to Casa Angolu you pass the ice cream shop São Gelados on your right. Nelson sells here artisanally made ice cream full of deep fruit flavors and in many fresh colours.
His specialty is "Creme Florentina" ice cream. Creme Florentina was first served around 1500 at the court of De Medici in Florence at the wedding of Catherine de Medici, who was also Queen of France. The secret of the taste of Creme Florentina ice cream lies in the special combination of bergamot, lemons and oranges.
