Upon entering the Church of Immaculate Conception, that was patterned after the Church of the Holy Trinity, located in Paris, France, the various paintings from Thaddeus von Zukotynski, who was from Poland and studied art in Germany, impressively greets visitors on the walls and ceilings. The stained-glass windows, proudly displaying the stations of the cross, were made at the Bavarian Art Institute of Munich, Germany. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence began in Europe and was brought to the United States by a Sister of Providence. The Shrine, located in the vestibule, includes a painting by Italian artist Pompei Cocccia. The Shrine has received prayer intentions in the form of letters, emails, and an online request form from all over the world including Africa, Australia, Europe, and South America.
