City Hall and the next-door Beach Art Center are both historic structures that reflect the enduring community spirit of Indian Rocks Beach.
Today’s City Hall started out in 1952 simply as an auditorium for community events, built by the Civic Association. In the years since it became City Hall, it has gone through many renovations but remains a true community center.
Standing beside City Hall to the north is the popular Beach Art Center, originally the American Legion hall, built in the late 1940s and upgraded numerous times.
There is a vibrant civic spirit in Indian Rocks Beach that is felt beyond the walls of these buildings, as a variety of organizations work together for the betterment of community life.
