The John A. Danzi Athletic Center opened in 1997 and has provided St. Joseph's College students, faculty, and staff with many opportunities to enjoy athletic competitions, promote personal fitness, and engage in recreational activities. Long Island businessman John A. Danzi became a SJC trustee in 1997 and a major benefactor of the college. His generosity was recognized by naming the athletic center after him in 1998.

Our cardiovascular equipment includes treadmills, recumbent and upright bikes, ellipticals, rowers, and Upper Body Ergometer (UBE) machines.
