When it's predessecor was built at the end of the 1800s this location was considered to be in the outskirts of the city and suitable for a industrial building. Today not so much! There are plans to dismantle it by 2030.
This is also where you enter back in to the canal/mout from the river. From here it is about 20 minutes until you reach the end of the tour.
