Doyon, Limited is one of the thirteen Native regional corporations established by Congress under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). With the land en­titlement of 12.5 million acres, Doyon is the largest private landowner in North America. Their mission states: “Doyon’s mission is to continually enhance our position as a finan­cially strong Native corporation in order to promote the economic and social wellbeing of our shareholders and to assist in promot­ing and preserving the cultural heritage and land base of our shareholders.” Be sure to visit the displays of Native Alaskan crafts and art located within the lobby.
