24 Potomac St.- Dr. Wheeler House: This Victorian style house was built in 1880
and was the residence of Dr. W.C. Wheeler. The house to the right was where Dr. Wheeler’s driver lived. This structure was used until 1860 by John Stonesifer III to make and test his famous Kentucky long rifles.
