East Campus Dining Hall (E-Hall)

E-Hall opened in 2009 and can hold 700 students.

E-Hall was JMU's first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified facility. Waste from E-Hall is composted in an attempt to reduce dining-related waste. Another effort to reduce food waste, the JMU Food Recovery Network gathers food that would otherwise be wasted and donates it to help feed the community.
