This is the "St. Louis side" of the Delmar Loop. It is an extension of the original entertainment district offering bowling, concert venues, retail shopping, and home grown restaurants - notably PI. The East Loop of Delmar aka Barack Obama Blvd was the first street in the United States to be named after the 44th president when he tried the Pizza. He liked it so much that he kept returning when he campaigned in Missouri. Ultimately he had a PI pizza kitchen built temporary in the white house during his first term
