Eastern White Pine
Pinaceae
Pinus
Strobus
This tree can be found on top of the hill in front of my house in a small opening. It should be easy to spot as you travel down State Route 32. There are small bushes and shrubs behind the tree, ith mushrooms usually growing out in front of this Eastern White Pine. Soil is sometimes dry or wet depending on the weather. The Eastern White Pine is often referred to as the king of trees in the northeast United States due to its large size and how common it is.
