1700 17th Street/ Roger J. Easton architect/ Miesian style/ built 1972
This innovative design is composed of two apartment buildings elevated on columns that shelter the building entrances and parking. They are linked at the top with a suspended walkway that accesses roof terraces. The building façades have no windows facing the street to provide visual and acoustic privacy for the apartments, but open internally with large windows and balconies.
This point of interest is part of the tour: Mid-Century Modern Architecture in Boulder, CO - Central
