El Paso Dairy

After graduating from Sacred Heart School he was unable to attend high school and began working at the El Paso Dairy Company. He began working at a young age to try and help his family financially. Following his time at the dairy company, he worked at Ellis Brothers Printing Shop and the Santa Fe Railroad. After turning 16 he lied about his age and enlisted himself into the WW1 war effort.
